WynCoat®, Silicone deformer, due to their lower surface tension, silicone defoaming agents have greater defoaming action than organic defoaming agents. Organosilicon compounds (silicone oil) interfere with the surface tension of the gas-liquid interface, resulting in defoaming effect. SD-3019 is equivalent to BYK-019 in international markets.

WynCoat® SD-3019 is a silicone-containing defoamer for aqueous pigment concentrates for use in coatings, printing inks and overprint varnishes. Prevents foam during grinding. Long-term and shear stability. Particularly suitable for resin-free grinds(slurries)
